Meet Our Staff
Regina Schaefer- School Director Regina is a wife and mother of three teenage children and has attended Calvary Chapel of Gloucester County since 2012. She holds a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University and has extensive experience in early childhood education administration and teaching. Grateful for God’s guidance, Regina helped open Cornerstone Christian Academy and now serves in a Christ-centered role, supporting students and staff. She also leads the midweek kids program at Calvary and volunteers with the church’s Revive outreach ministry.
Administrative Staff
Yolanda Jimenez Colon- School Coordinator Yolanda Jimenez-Colón is a wife, mother of four, and grandmother of three. She came to know the Lord as a teenager and has dedicated her life to honoring God, loving people, and serving with joy. As Cornerstone Christian Academy’s school coordinator, Yolanda brings over 25 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, and community engagement to ensure that students, parents, and staff are supported with excellence and care. She is passionate about fostering an environment where communication flows seamlessly and everyone feels connected and valued. In addition to her work at CCA, Yolanda is a real estate professional, leveraging her extensive experience and deep knowledge of the South Jersey market to guide clients through one of life’s most important decisions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations and a minor in Spanish for Business from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey.
Marcia Ammirato- School Administrator Marcia became a Christian in 2011 and has been faithfully serving as a 3rd/4th grade Sunday School teacher at CCGC. She and her husband, Mark, have been married for 24 years and have fostered children over the years. Today, they are blessed to be proud grandparents to Baylor and Maya. Marcia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and she has a special heart for children. She currently serves as an Administrator at Cornerstone Christian Academy, where she supports parents, teachers, and students with their needs. Over the past four years, Marcia has witnessed tremendous growth at CCA and joyfully praises God for all He has done.
Teachers
Maribel Perez- Preschool Teacher Maribel Perez is a lover of Christ, a devoted wife, and the proud mother of two daughters. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and believes that every child is uniquely created to learn. With over 15 years of experience in children’s ministries, Maribel has taught Kindergarten, Music, Physical Education, and currently teaches Preschool. She honors diverse abilities and learning styles, ensuring all students have the opportunity to grow. Her mission is to leave a lasting, God-centered legacy.
Larell Genay- Kindergarten Teacher Larell is a loving mother to two wonderful sons and a beautiful daughter. In her free time, she enjoys baking, staying active, reading, and doing puzzles. She also loves spending time with her children, especially coloring and making crafts together. Her passion for teaching began in the early 2000s when she homeschooled her nieces, sparking a lifelong love for working with children. Now entering her fourth year at Cornerstone Christian Academy, Larell continues to build strong connections and celebrate meaningful progress with every student she teaches. Her favorite part of being at CCA is creating lasting memories with her students. Making a positive impact in their lives brings her great joy and fulfillment as a teacher.
Sandy Corsoe- First Grade Teacher, Reading Specialist Sandy is a born-again Christian, wife, mother of three grown sons, and grandmother to four grandchildren. She is a mentor, teacher, and friend to all she meets, delighting in seeing God’s glorious workmanship in everyone. Sandy enjoys spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports. In her spare time, she loves sewing, gardening, and reading. With a BA from Rowan University, she began her teaching journey homeschooling her sons from K–12 before holding teaching positions at both Christian and public schools, specializing in reading and language. As a committed teacher, Sandy empowers students with confidence and self-esteem while inspiring them to love learning. She views her role at Cornerstone Christian Academy as a calling and thanks God daily for the privilege of sharing Jesus with her students and for His gracious provision.
Brittney Aristone- Second Grade Teacher Brittney is a born-again Christian who is passionate about providing a Christ-centered education for young students. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and taught music for seven years before becoming a second-grade teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy. Brittney feels truly blessed to be called to teach in a Christian school and is thankful for the opportunity to begin each day worshiping with her school family. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, as well as crocheting, gardening, and singing.
Teri Johanson- Third and Fourth Grade Teacher Teri is the 3rd and 4th grade teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has been in education for 14 years. Teaching is her passion, and she loves watching each student learn and grow. Teri is married and has two young adult daughters who serve as leaders in their church’s youth program. She has attended Calvary Chapel of Gloucester County for the past four years and is deeply grateful that the Lord led her there. In her free time, Teri enjoys baking, gardening, photography, reading the Bible, and spending time outdoors in God’s creation. She is thankful that the Lord has brought her to Cornerstone and looks forward to working with and growing alongside her students. Learning is a blessing from the Lord.
Cyndy Travaglini- Fifth and Sixth Grade Teacher, Math Specialist Cyndy Travaglini teaches 5th and 6th grade at Cornerstone Christian Academy. She retired from public education in June 2022 and joined CCA during its first year. Her husband, Paul, is also a public school teacher. Cyndy and Paul are parents to four children and grandparents to two grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family and cherishes quiet moments with God through Bible study. In her free time, Cyndy loves crocheting, cooking, baking, and relaxing at the beach or floating in her pool.
Ruth Raia- Seventh Grade Teacher Ruthanne is the 7th grade teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy. She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and has completed credits toward a Master of Education in Elementary Education. With over 20 years of experience in education, Ruthanne loves teaching and watching her students grow and learn. She is a proud mother of two daughters and grandmother to seven, with an eighth grandchild expected in January. In her free time, Ruthanne enjoys gardening, reading, studying the Bible, and spending time outdoors in God’s creation. She feels blessed to serve at CCA and looks forward to an exciting year of teaching and growing together with her students in the Lord.
Meredith McConnell- Middle School and High School Teacher Meredith and her husband, Jason, have been married for over 20 years and are the proud parents of triplet teenage daughters. A Gloucester County native, Meredith developed a love for the arts early in life and later earned a full-tuition scholarship to Caldwell University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. She has professional experience in sales strategy, analytics, and banking, and in 2014 began serving at CCGC in communications and volunteer coordination. For the 2025–2026 school year, Meredith is the 8th grade homeroom teacher at CCA, teaching High School Mathematics and Latin. Meredith is grateful for the opportunity to serve at Cornerstone Christian Academy and continually prays blessings upon the students, families, and staff who make up the CCA community.
Laura Enuco- High School Homeroom, Elementary Teacher Laura has come out of retirement to joyfully join the Cornerstone family. She taught Music in grades Pre-K through 8 for 33 years in the public school system before retiring in 2017. Since then, she has enjoyed spending time with her three children, five grandchildren, and two dogs. In her free time, Laura loves playing the harp, knitting, quilting, and baking. She has a deep love for the Lord and treasures time spent in His Word each day, singing praises for all He has done in her life. Laura feels truly blessed to be part of Cornerstone, finding great joy in seeing the children worship, pray for one another, and grow in God’s truth. To her, there is no greater joy than helping raise up a generation who walks in the ways of the Lord.
Rich Bradford- Founding Documents Teacher Rich Bradford, a resident of Williamstown, has been attending Calvary Chapel Gloucester County since 2015. He is married to Carolyn and has a grown daughter, Grace. Rich is a graduate of Widener University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and is a full-time real estate agent leading The Bradford Team at RE/MAX ONE. He began teaching at Cornerstone Christian Academy in September 2023, where he leads the Founding Documents class, covering the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Rich is passionate about teaching and inspiring students through his diverse experiences and love for history.
Pastor Chad Blatherwick- Middle School and High School Teacher Chad Blatherwick is an 8th grade and High School teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy, teaching a variety of subjects. He has been married to his wife, Melissa, for 26 years, and they have four children, ages 23, 20, 15, and 11. Chad and Melissa planted Encounter Christian Fellowship, a nondenominational Bible church, four years ago, where he currently serves as pastor. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Divinity from Palmer Seminary. An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and a true people person, Chad enjoys movies and working out in his free time. Most importantly, he loves Jesus, his family, and God’s Word.
Janice Simpson- Middle School and High School Teacher Janice Simpson is a mother of three and grandmother of two. She has worn many hats in her life, including teacher, massage therapist, and writer. A devoted follower of Jesus, she is continually seeking to grow in her understanding of God’s Word and the teachings of Christ. At Cornerstone Christian Academy, she teaches 8th grade and High School Language Arts, including Grammar, Vocabulary of Latin Roots, and Writing, as well as High School Nutrition. Her goal is to help students grow in knowledge, understanding, and application of each subject while deepening their relationship with the Lord.
Janis Raively- Art / Middle and High School Teacher For over 34 years, Janis has dedicated her time to youth ministries and working with children in foster care. She and her husband currently serve as a billet family for an elite hockey program, hosting a young athlete in their home from September through May. Janis is a daughter of a King and deeply loved. She’s married to a wonderful man who continues to surround her with beautiful adventures. She is starting her 20th year teaching and studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University majoring in Social Work and minoring in Psychology. When she’s not teaching, Janis can often be found enjoying time in the ocean, creating art, reading, traveling, and embracing all things creative.
Chrissy Murphy- Science Teacher Chrissy is a wife and mother of two teenagers and has been attending Calvary Chapel of Gloucester County since 2019. She holds a BA in Communications with a minor in Public Relations from Southern Connecticut State University and also received a basketball scholarship to attend the university. Chrissy has helped open several butterfly greenhouses and insect museums along the East Coast, reflecting her passion for God’s creation, which she finds all around us daily. She enjoys the outdoors, especially trips to the beach with her family to collect sand dollars and shells, inspired by John 1:3.
Fred Mossbrucker- High School Teacher Fred Mossbrucker teaches U.S. History II and Literature to grades 9–11 at Cornerstone Christian Academy. He also serves as the advisor for the Student Council and Boys’ Bible Study. Fred gave his life to Christ at the age of 10 and experienced a born-again renewal at 15. Throughout his life, he has remained active in church ministry—teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and performing with Hims of Praise (a gospel quartet), the Clarksboro Men’s Chorus, and various praise and worship teams. Fred enjoys studying Civil War history, participating in Civil War reenactments, maintaining his 1932 Ford Roadster, and working out at his local gym.
Julia Johanson- Fitness and Music Teacher Julia Johanson is the Fitness and Music teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy. She is 20 years old and has been a follower of Christ for nearly four years. Julia enjoys serving in CCGC’s Youth Group, painting, singing, traveling, hiking, spending time with friends, and studying the Word of God. She is currently pursuing a degree in Christian Education through online classes at Calvary Chapel University, a path God led her to after serving at a school in Uganda last summer. Julia’s favorite part of CCA is the fellowship and sense of family among teachers, students, and parents. She looks forward to all that the Lord will do this school year and in the years to come.
Gianna Rhoades- Math Teacher, School Aide Gianna holds an associate’s degree in Health Science and previously served at Cornerstone Christian Academy as a lunch aide and math aide. She is grateful to be called to her current role as a math teacher and thanks the Lord for her love of math and her enthusiasm for helping children learn. In her free time, Gianna enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with family, friends, and her two pets.
School Aides
Trudy Evans- School Aide Ms. Trudy has attended Calvary Chapel for over 20 years, faithfully serving wherever there is a need. She is the proud mother of five children and now delights in spending time with her ten grandchildren. Since Cornerstone Christian Academy first opened its doors, Ms. Trudy has served as the Lunch and Recess Coordinator. Her top priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of every student, and she looks forward to another safe and fun-filled school year with the children.
Gina Tortorice- School Aide Gina feels blessed and grateful to be called to serve as a school aide at Cornerstone Christian Academy. She has experience working with children from Pre-K through 12th grade and finds great joy in supporting their growth and learning each day. Gina is a wife and the mother of two teenage daughters. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her girls at their dance and cheer events. Her desire is to create a safe, caring, and Christ-centered environment for every student, living out Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Luci Conti- School Aide Luci has been attending Calvary Chapel of Gloucester County since 2019. She serves in Kids Church, the Women’s Mentoring Ministry, and as a leader in the Women’s Prayer Ministry. After working in commercial insurance for over 35 years, Luci felt God calling her to continue serving rather than fully retire. She joined Cornerstone Christian Academy in 2023 as a lunch aide and support staff member, grateful for the opportunity to help educate the next generation with biblical values. Her favorite pastime is enjoying a cup of coffee while chatting with a friend.
Franne Harkin- School Aide Mrs. Franne is a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She has five children, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. A Christian for over 43 years and married for 50, she has devoted her life to serving the Lord. Throughout her lifetime, Mrs. Franne has served in many areas of the church, including children’s ministry, women’s ministry, worship teams, and various outreach programs. She attends Calvary Chapel of Gloucester County and currently serves in the Women’s Ministry mentoring other women, as well as in the Revive Outreach Ministry. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve and minister to the children and staff of Cornerstone Christian Academy.
Naomi Florio- School Aide Naomi recently graduated from Eastern Regional High School and is actively involved in youth ministry at Calvary Chapel Gloucester County. After prayerfully considering college, she felt the Lord’s calling to participate in the Tenth Hour Project, an eight-month mission trip where she will be trained and travel throughout the United States and abroad, sharing the love and grace of Jesus. A passionate baseball fan and devoted Yankee supporter, Naomi has a heart for the younger generation and youth. She enjoys all seasons, especially summer, and treasures quiet time spent in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
Juliana Dixon- School Aide Juliana Dixon is a wife and proud dog mom to Lady and Stanley. She and her husband, high school sweethearts, have been married for 13 years. Juliana enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, doing puzzles, and bowling. She has been a part of Calvary Chapel for 12 years and joined Cornerstone Christian Academy last year as a lunch aide. This year, she begins a new chapter as a kindergarten teacher’s aide and looks forward to supporting students and staff.
